Since I haven't posted in a while and since I have been on a project whirlwind, thought I'd catch up some with some of the recent challenges that I've done. Since being selected for the CC Design Team, which officially hasn't started yet, it's been pretty hectic!! Posts will be coming more frequently!!
Challenge 18 was another recipe: stamped image, bling and an embellishment that you wouldn't normally use. My stamped images are from SU. The bling is the stickles (on the candle flames) and the item I don't normally use is the embossing powder and heat gun! I literally had to go on a search for the embossing powder! Took me some time to find it! Paper is BG Green at Heart.
Challenge 17 was 3D. There needed to be some 3D element to the page.....this one was double duty.....it was also my CC new Focus Group challenge. So for #17, the 3D elements are the crochet border and the buttons. This paper is MME Good Day Sunshine Girl. For the Focus Group challenge, our entry needed to contain one new technique (the crocheted border) and three items chosen from a tic-tac-toe format.....I chose patterned paper, stamped image and buttons!
Challenge 16 was to "GET INKY!" The flowers on this card were white when I started.....I sprayed them with Glimmer Mist and then layered them with BG Indian Summer! They went beautifully!
Challenge 15 was to make an embellishment from scratch......and to use 3 different colors in the paper choice. The paper I chose is MME Stella & Rose again......love this paper! I stamped the flower image and cut it out.
This is Challenge 14.......blue and brown as main colors. The paper line is MME Stella & Rose Hattie.
This is the next NSD Challenge......something new! The ladybug stamps are new, opened the package for the first time for this challenge. The paper I used is BG Sugar Rush.
