Keeping warm!

Here we are on Christmas Eve and I am so thankful and blessed!  The current challenge at Clear It Out Challenge goes until January 6, so there is still plenty of time to get your posts in.  The theme this time is "warm fuzzies" and the stash item is to have some texture.

It's not really cold enough here for warm woolen mittens, but I do love my warm fuzzy socks and my big hairy dog curled up on my feet!  That's what I had in mind when I created these two cards......

First card is brought to you by DigiDarla Designs.  I paper pieced this one together.  The patterned paper is by My Minds Eye Holly Jolly the solid cardstocks are by Tim Holtz.  A couple brads and some Glossy Accents later and there you have it!

The next one is brought to you by QKR Stampede.  To show some texture on this cute sleepy puppy, I took some ink on a pom-pom and pounced his fur.  I used some stickles on the moon and added a few sparkles.  The markers I used are the Tombow Art Markers, and the green paper is My Minds Eye Holly Jolly.

Don't forget to give some love to our sponsors:

And most of all have a blessed Christmas and a safe and Happy New Year!

Warm fuzzies!!

Baby it's cold outside!!  The theme at Clear It Out Challenge is "warm fuzzies!"  I love my warm fuzzy socks and robe!!  This is a three week challenge, so a new one will be posted in the new year......

My card for this challenge is brought to you by Stitchy Bear and Beary Dust Designs.  He's called bear 'n' stocking.

The stash item it to use some texture on your entry.  Well this one has TONS of texture!  I used a snowflake embossing folder, I have brads and ribbon.  I also used a pom-pom dipped in some ink to "pounce" my bear and stocking image.  I wanted to create the illusion that they were fuzzy.  I did the same with the white collar at the top of the stocking.  I love how it turned out.  The paper is by My Minds Eye - Holly Jolly, ribbon and brads from stash, "very merry" stamp by Stampin Up.  Thanks for checking us out and get those fuzzy slippers on and get crafting!  Don't forget to check out our great sponsors too!!

Ho Ho Ho!

Hello again!  I've created this cute Christmas-y tag to put on just about anything I want!!  I used mostly scraps!  I colored the image (brought to you by DigiDarla) with my Tombow Art Markers and used a teensy bit of Crystal Stickles.  Thanks for checking me out!

Entering these in Cuttin' and Stampin' Blog Challenge #48 (red, black, white, kraft) and also in the DigiDarla Copy Cat Challenge

Cuttin’ and Stampin’ DT call 2014

Thank you to the fantastic ladies at Cuttin' and Stampin' for the DT search post!  I am throwing my hat into the mix!  If anyone out there reading this is interested in joining the Cuttin' and Stampin' DT as well, the link is here and good luck!!

My name is Jenni Shamblin, I have been scrapbooking (officially) since about 1999.  Although during high school (mid-80's) I was placing pieces of paper into magnetic albums next to the pictures!!  Who knew it would end up like this!! :o)  I am the mother of two amazing kids......Bo is 10 and Anna is 6.  They are typical in their activities!  Bo likes baseball, fishing and golf and Anna loves princesses and dance, dance, dance!!  My hubby and I met here in Florida almost 14 years ago and it's been one heck of a ride!!  I am originally from Southern Lower Michigan but love living in the Sunshine state!

I have had the pleasure of being chosen for two amazing DT.  The first with CropChocolate.com......and now on Clear It Out Challenge.

I am attaching pictures of a few of my favorite projects!  My style is pretty clean and simple, not a lot of fluff or bulk.  I like the pictures and message to get through!

The first three projects are from the Clear It Out Challenge DT.  Digital Stamps colored with Tombow Art Markers.

Next are the CropChocolate.com DT projects.  Those posts contain step-by-step instructions.

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

Merry Christmas (early) everyone!  Over at Clear It Out Challenge it's starting to look a lot like Christmas!

For this next two weeks, post your Anything goes Christmas projects!  The stash item is "make room for your new Christmas presents."  So either place a "present" on your project or clear-it-out!!

Again we have great sponsors for this challenge, they are:  Lacy Sunshine, Bugaboo and StampArt.

First card is brought to you by StampArt.  He's called Teddy's Surprise.

I used Tombow Art Markers to color in the image.  I used My Minds Eye, Holly Jolly paper.  I paper pieced the bows and package using the Holly Jolly paper.

Next is Bugaboo.  Image is Nativity - Mary, Joseph and Child.

Again, used the Tombow Art Markers and the My Minds Eye Holly Jolly paper.  The yellow is Tim Holtz Craft Core embossed then sanded.  The sentiment is by UnityStampCo.

Last but not least is Lacy Sunshine.  She's called Coco's Holiday Ornament.  I was inspired by a sketch at Sieze the Sketch and a DT member Rose.  (Thanks Rose!!)

Colored with Tombow Art Markers, MME Holly Jolly Paper, UnityStampCo. sentiment, twine and button from stash.  What you can't see is she's sparkly with some stickles!

Please visit our sponsors and show them some love!
