Reflecting on a Great YEAR!!

As 2014 comes to a close and we look forward to 2015, I am reminded of how blessed I am!  My family, my friends, my life!  I thank God each and every day for the blessings he has bestowed upon me and those I love.

The last challenge of the year is up at Clear It Out Challenge!  It's anything goes and it's to showcase your favorite project of the past year!  I chose this sweet baby shower card I made for a friend.  Her baby boy, Parker, was born during a very difficult time for her.....just a week after her father passed away.  He's getting bigger each day and I can't wait to watch him grow!

The image from is from MelJen's, the paper is from Authentique.  I colored him in with Tombow Art Markers and used some twine and buttons from my stash.

Merry Christmas, Happy New Year, Happy Holiday's to each and everyone of you!!

God Bless!

Anything Goes!

While I love the freedom of Anything Goes, it's also somewhat stressful!  I know, that sounds silly, but matching a sentiment with an image is sometimes difficult!

This week at Clear It Out Challenge, it's ATG (Anything Goes)!  Our sponsor this week is Stitchy Bear Stamps .

I colored two versions of this, then couldn't decide which I liked better!  So I used them both! :)  The image is called Alice Cat and with a name like that, my first thought was Cheshire Cat (hence the pink and purple)!  When I started to search for a quote, the other blue and purple image popped up, so I thought what the heck!  As with both cards, the papers are scraps, the image was colored with Tombow Art Markers and the acrylic dots are homemade (melted perler beads).  I am also entering both of these lovelies into the Stitchy Bear Monthly Challenge which is located on their Facebook page!  Best of luck to everyone and remember ANYTHING GOES!!

Threes!

Good Tuesday to everyone!  This week at Clear It Out Challenge Blogspot, it's all about the number three!  I feel like I should be on Sesame Street! :)  The challenge is anything goes, but the stash item is to use whatever, but make it in multiples of three!

Our sponsor this week is Stamp Art by Kathryne.  The image I chose was of two gingerbread "persons."  One of each......so I printed it twice and fussy cut them out.  Embellished them with some liquid pearls and candy cane red stickles.  The paper I've used is from DCWV, Sugar Plum.  The three red dots at the bottom right are homemade acrylic dots (melted in the oven perler beads)!  My kids don't seem to miss a few here and there!

Thanks for checking us out and be sure to enter into this weeks challenge!

Holy Cow It's November!!!

Well here it is the first week of November!  Whew, that year went by fast!!!  In Florida it's a little different in fall that everywhere else.......it's cooler and less humid, and my absolute favorite time of year!!  Temps in the 70s and 80s during the day but cooling off at night into the 40s and 50s leads to fire pits and warm snuggly clothes!!

This week's challenge at Clear it Out Challenge is all about Gearing up for winter!  Also the stash item is to add something metal to your creation!  Our sponsor this week is one of my favorites, Bugaboo Stamps!

This image just makes me happy!!  They are simply called "winter trio."  I colored them in with my Tombow Art Markers.  The sentiment is from Unity Stamp Co., the paper is from a kitchen stack, of all things, that I won sometime ago!  The twine is from the dollar spot at Target and the charm is from my stash.

I'm going to enter this into the Bugaboo Stamps Challenge for November - ATG.

Don't forget to check out Bugaboo Stamps, their images are super sweet!

My image comes from Emerald Faeries.

The name of the image is Larakins!  I used my Tombow art markers to color them in.  Paper is all from scraps and the white dots are homemade melted perler beads!  The flower flourish is from Fancy Pants Burlap & Bouquets.

I am going to enter this card in the MFT Sketch Challenge as well.  Here is the sketch!

Boo!!!

Happy Halloween week!  My kids are super excited about Halloween on Friday!  And at Clear It Out Challenge, it's all about the orange!!  This week's challenge is to use up all your orange stuff!!

Our sponsor this week is MelJen's Designs!   Her images are so sweet, they are not spooky at all!

My paper is from Echo Park (oldie but goodie), brads are by BG, twine was from the $1 bin at Target.  Sentiment is from Friskers and I colored with Tombow Art Markers.  After a little sparkle from stickles it's all done!

I am also going to enter this into MelJen's DT Challenge!  It's all about Trick-or-Treat and Shopping Our Stash Halloween Theme challenge and Tuesday Throwdown Halloween Color Challenge!!

Whoa, where did October go?!?!

So I have failed to post my last two DT entries for Clear It Out Challenge!  ooops!

Hubby traveling, kids in all kinds of activities, this mamma is T-I-R-E-D!!

Let's start with this weeks challenge, it's fall y'all!!  Our friends to the north (Canada) just celebrated their Thanksgiving, and ours here in the US is quickly approaching!  This week's challenge is Thanksgiving and the stash item is twine.

This week's card is brought to you by Stamp Art by Kathryne.  I colored my image in with Tombow Art Markers, added some stash buttons and some scraps from the scrap bag!  My twine is on the buttons.

Be sure to visit StampArt Design by Kathryne soon, her images are super cute!!

The previous week's challenge has closed already, sorry about my delay, but nontheless, here's my card for that one as well!

The challenge was "If you liked it you should have put a ring on it!"  Thought that was so cute!!  Wedding cards and some circles or rings for the stash item!

Our sponsor for this challenge is Bugaboo Stamps!  This one had limited coloring needed, but used my Tombow Art Markers and added some stickles!  The pink background is Bazzill, unsure of the color, but the other pieces are scraps.  The dots are (I think) from Simple Stories.

Thanks for stopping by!! :)

Shades of Grey!

No, not THAT shades of grey, just the colors!  LOL  Hello again, at Clear It Out Challenge, we're back for another weekly challenge!  This time is to use all things grey!

Our sponsor this week is Lacy Sunshine!  My image is called Jenni Boo!  With a name like that (even with an I, just like me), how could I pass her up!!

My paper is from BoBunny, I used some washi tape, stickles, prima flower and bling.  Colored her in with my Tombow Art Markers and the sentiment stamp is from Paper Smooches.

My 7 year old daughter is a dancer, and this little cutie reminded me of her.  If anyone has been to a dance recital or competition lately you know about the need for bling!  LOL

Please check out Lacy Sunshine, her images are super cute!  Also thanks for checking out my blog and please be sure to enter our challenge for a chance at some sweet images!

This week's challenge at Clear It Out Challenge, is ATG!  That's Anything Goes!!  Our awesome sponsor this week is Bugaboo Stamps!

All the paper for this card is from my scrap pile!  I'm very proud to say that!!  After all it is called "Clear It Out" for a reason! I used my Tombow Art Markers to color this in and added a tiny bit of stickles!

Some of my favorite things!

This week's challenge at Clear It Out is another color challenge.....this time it's YOUR favorite color!  It's also an ATG (Anything Goes) challenge!

I wasn't really on board with the mint green/pink color combo for Christmas cards, but this elf changed my mind!  The image comes from this week's sponsor, MelJen's Designs.  This super cute elf is also going to be entered into their challenge for "hanging out."  The paper I chose is My Minds Eye, I Believe.  I used my Tombow Art Markers to color in this precious elf!  I also used a touch of Star Dust Stickles, some twine and a sentiment stamp from Stampin' Up.  (Please excuse my thumb in the picture, I couldn't get the stickles to sparkle any other way!)

Please be sure to check out MelJen's Designs!  Her images are super adorable!!
