Unity Stamp Co. has issued a color challenge on their Show and Tell FB page!  Here's my entry!

Papers used are mostly from MME Here is Happy.  Brads and solids are from stash.  Colored the image with Tombow Art Markers.....and of course the Unity Stamp used is More than Cupcakes!

This is the colors suggested.

Followed this old sketch from MFT found on Pinterest.

Three Kings JB:18:02

Another Christmas Card for jingle belles!  This week's challenge is called "Three Kings."  Which of course references the three wise men visiting the baby Jesus, but in this case it's to include something in multiples of three on your card!

Lots of scraps used on this one!  I used the Stampin Up Petite Petals punch to create the poinsettias.  The twine and stamped sentiment are from Bella Creationz  and everything else is stash/scraps!

Thanks for visiting!

Happy New Year 2018! JB:18:01.

Happy New Year 2018!  I'm embarking on another challenge to myself to get organized!  I've subscribed to jingle belles and their challenge to make at least one Christmas/Holiday card each week to have a stash by next Christmas!  Here's to week one!

My MIL gifted me some washi tape and sparkly cording.  These cards use all of those!  I didn't care for the gold and silver together so I made two!  One for Christmas giving and one for Hanukkah giving!  Thanks for looking!

gold stars are from Bella Creationz, cream stars punched from cardstock.  Stamped sentiments are from Unity Stamp Co.

Tiddly Inks DT Call Time!!

It's that time again.....Tiddly Inks DT Call time!!  I'm throwing my hat in the ring!!  I love Tiddly Inks images!  They are fun and whimsical and so awesome to color!

The image I used I found through a Pinterest search.  I think it was a freebie way back in the day (2013).  She's called Wryn-Blooms.  Hope it's still an eligible image to use because I absolutely *love* this sweet girl!  I also found this awesome sketch on Pinterest!

Pinterest is a crafter's best friend!  If you get stuck or in a rut, just do a quick search to get those creative juices flowing again!

Without further delay, here she is!!  I love how it turned out and the colors just pop!  I used a watercolor technique with my Tombow Art Markers to color her.  The stripped paper is from My Minds Eye Happy Day.  All else is from scraps!  I will also be entering this little lovely into the current challenge.....make it rectangle!

Thanks Tiddly Inks for the opportunity to be apart of an amazing company!  Fingers crossed!

They are Pinterest inspired, and I absolutely love them!

Tiddly Inks DT Call!

Tiddly Inks is having a DT call and I am throwing my hat in the ring!!  (Wish me good luck!!)

I had chosen 2 images to work on and see which I liked better in the end.......well it's a good thing I did!  The first one finished wasn't my favorite, but the second one I absolutely LOVE!

For the first card I used a freebie image, Awww Thanks.  I'm getting ready to send a batch of cards in a care package to a group of Coast Guard Servicemen and women who are stationed abroad.  One of them is the father to my daughter's best friend!  This one will go in with some others!

I colored in the image with my Tombow Art markers and used an old sketch from OWH (Operation Write Home), thought it was appropriate!  The paper is from Authentique Genuine collection, the brads are from my stash and the "hi" die is from Little Yellow Bicycle.

But the second "card" is by far my favorite!  My daughter is a dancer! There I've said it, and anyone with a daughter in dance will understand!  Everything has to be sparkly and usually pink!  LOL  As I am also a scrapbooker, this will ultimately go on a layout page!

This image is also a freebie called, Tiny Dancer

I colored her in with my Tombow Art Markers, then fussy cut her out.  I started with a kraft base, cut it to the correct shape and size and covered it with the pink and white stripe paper which was in the scrap pile.  I popped her up with some pop dots.  The lace punch is Stampin Up as is the "dream" stamp.  The bling (both pink and clear), smaller craft tag, ballet slipper charm and pink seam binding are all from my stash.  Flowers are Prima, polka dot ribbon is AC, stickles in stardust and Distress ink is TH Tea Dye.  I added a little doodling around the edge and tied on the pink seam binding and MM Wedding ribbon.  I love it and so does the tiny dancer in my life!  This one is my entry for the DT Call!

Here's to nothing!

Leave me some love if you like what you see!
