Happy Hump Day!

Hey there crafty friends, I am up on the Timeless Twine blog once again with another fun project using Bella Creationz and Timeless Twine!!

With Graduation in full swing everywhere, my fair share of announcements have arrived at my home as well!  I created this cute money holder to send to a fine young man graduating High School.

I found this little lovely on Pinterest.  This is my second one of these, and I still need one more for this year's class!

I used Navy blue and forest green bazzil cardstock, along with some white scraps.  The owl is punched using the owl punch from Stampin Up.  I used the "Oh Snap" stamp setsparkly clear sequins and natural white twine.  Loving how it turned out and masculine enough to give to a young man!

Our awesome sponsor this week is Sami Stamps and my image is absolutely precious!  Colored with Tombow Art Markers, the striped paper is from scraps.  The graphite grey twine, "love" stamp and spring fling sequins are all from Bella Creationz and Timeless Twine!

Technique Tuesday - Stenciling with Glimmer Mist

Happy Tuesday everyone!  It's my turn at Technique Tuesday over at Timeless Twine!  My technique today is using a stencil with glimmer mist spray.  I used this technique to create the diamond patterned background paper.

First I chose the stencil and the color of glimmer mist.  This is a Tim Holtz stencil and the color is tuscan sun.  What I usually do is tape the stencil down onto the paper so there is no shifting or moving of the stencil while the ink is still wet.

I used the "Oh Snap" stamp set from Bella Creationz and Timeless Twine!  I used the polaroid frame and cut it out to create an actual frame!  I added a doily, some natural white and orange twine along with some simply beautiful sequins!  The flower and brad were from my stash.

Thanks for checking us out!  You won't be sorry you did!

Jennifer Shamblin (you are here!)

Tracy Jackson (finish up here!)

Get ready for some beautiful paper crafting!

Now that we're through with all the "business" part of the hop, here's my creation!  It's based on the layout sketch that's part of the hop!

My base paper is BoBunny Double Dot in Slate, the patterned papers at the top along with the papers used on the "earth" are all from scraps.  The sun is a sticker turned into a die cut, the letters are chipboard thickers and the earth is just paper pieced together.  The twine and sequins are from Bella Creationz and Timeless Twine and the colored dots are homemade melted perler beads!

Follow along to the next blog and be sure to comment and have fun exploring all the fun paper crafting ideas!!
