Stitch it up!

This week's challenge at Clear It Out Challenge is up!  The theme is "thank you" and the stash item is stitching (real or faux)!

This week I've chosen the "faux" method (mostly because I didn't want to drag out the sewing machine)!

Our sponsor this week is Melonheadz Illustrating!  I colored this beauty with Tombow Art Markers, added some stickles on her headband flower and boots (to be like most of the little girls I see lately)!  The paper is from my scraps and I punched the scallop border with a Martha Stewart punch!  The stamped sentiment is from Unity Stamp Co., the twine and sequins are from Bella Creationz and Timeless Twine.  The twine color is Key Lime Sorbet and the sequins are Clearly Beautiful!

I also used a sketch from MyFavoriteThings and will be entering it in their challenge!  Their sketches are super!!

Dance like no-one is watching!

My daughter's dance team is gearing up for competition season.  They have a program they do that allows family and friends to write letters or notes of encouragement for them.  They keep them in giant pink envelopes until the week before competition when they are distributed.  I thought these would brighten up any young dancer's day!  Maybe even encourage them just that little bit more! I made about 15 of these for her team members and friends! My creation is featured over on Timeless Twine and Bella Creationz blog!

Supplies used are Pink bazzill (not sure of exact color), swiss dot embossing folder.  Patterned paper is from Carta Bella Paris Girl.  Ballerina was cut using Slice Music & Dance cart and the scalloped edge was cut using a Martha Stewart Punch.  Bubble gum pink Timeless Twine and Metallic Poppin Pink sequins all from Bella Creationz and Timeless Twine rounds out the mix!!

Love is in the air!

Hello there crafty friends!  As we get closer to the end of January (whew where did THAT month go) and think about February......thoughts of love start creeping in!  This week's challenge at Clear it Out is all about love!  The theme is: Valentine's/Love and the stash item is flowers.

Our sponsor this week is Bugaboo Stamps!  I used some scrap paper for the background, I believe it is from American Crafts, Welcome Spring collection.  I used my Tombow Art Markers to color in this lovely pair!  Sentiment is from Friskers.  I used a new-to-me die by Lawn Fawn for the hearts!  Stash flowers and brads complete it!

Be sure to visit Bugaboo Stamps (pssst......I hear they are having a sale)!!
