Keeping warm!

Here we are on Christmas Eve and I am so thankful and blessed!  The current challenge at Clear It Out Challenge goes until January 6, so there is still plenty of time to get your posts in.  The theme this time is "warm fuzzies" and the stash item is to have some texture.

It's not really cold enough here for warm woolen mittens, but I do love my warm fuzzy socks and my big hairy dog curled up on my feet!  That's what I had in mind when I created these two cards......

First card is brought to you by DigiDarla Designs.  I paper pieced this one together.  The patterned paper is by My Minds Eye Holly Jolly the solid cardstocks are by Tim Holtz.  A couple brads and some Glossy Accents later and there you have it!

The next one is brought to you by QKR Stampede.  To show some texture on this cute sleepy puppy, I took some ink on a pom-pom and pounced his fur.  I used some stickles on the moon and added a few sparkles.  The markers I used are the Tombow Art Markers, and the green paper is My Minds Eye Holly Jolly.

Don't forget to give some love to our sponsors:

And most of all have a blessed Christmas and a safe and Happy New Year!

Warm fuzzies!!

Baby it's cold outside!!  The theme at Clear It Out Challenge is "warm fuzzies!"  I love my warm fuzzy socks and robe!!  This is a three week challenge, so a new one will be posted in the new year......

My card for this challenge is brought to you by Stitchy Bear and Beary Dust Designs.  He's called bear 'n' stocking.

The stash item it to use some texture on your entry.  Well this one has TONS of texture!  I used a snowflake embossing folder, I have brads and ribbon.  I also used a pom-pom dipped in some ink to "pounce" my bear and stocking image.  I wanted to create the illusion that they were fuzzy.  I did the same with the white collar at the top of the stocking.  I love how it turned out.  The paper is by My Minds Eye - Holly Jolly, ribbon and brads from stash, "very merry" stamp by Stampin Up.  Thanks for checking us out and get those fuzzy slippers on and get crafting!  Don't forget to check out our great sponsors too!!

Cuttin’ and Stampin’ DT call 2014

Thank you to the fantastic ladies at Cuttin' and Stampin' for the DT search post!  I am throwing my hat into the mix!  If anyone out there reading this is interested in joining the Cuttin' and Stampin' DT as well, the link is here and good luck!!

My name is Jenni Shamblin, I have been scrapbooking (officially) since about 1999.  Although during high school (mid-80's) I was placing pieces of paper into magnetic albums next to the pictures!!  Who knew it would end up like this!! :o)  I am the mother of two amazing kids......Bo is 10 and Anna is 6.  They are typical in their activities!  Bo likes baseball, fishing and golf and Anna loves princesses and dance, dance, dance!!  My hubby and I met here in Florida almost 14 years ago and it's been one heck of a ride!!  I am originally from Southern Lower Michigan but love living in the Sunshine state!

I have had the pleasure of being chosen for two amazing DT.  The first with CropChocolate.com......and now on Clear It Out Challenge.

I am attaching pictures of a few of my favorite projects!  My style is pretty clean and simple, not a lot of fluff or bulk.  I like the pictures and message to get through!

The first three projects are from the Clear It Out Challenge DT.  Digital Stamps colored with Tombow Art Markers.

Next are the CropChocolate.com DT projects.  Those posts contain step-by-step instructions.

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

Merry Christmas (early) everyone!  Over at Clear It Out Challenge it's starting to look a lot like Christmas!

For this next two weeks, post your Anything goes Christmas projects!  The stash item is "make room for your new Christmas presents."  So either place a "present" on your project or clear-it-out!!

Again we have great sponsors for this challenge, they are:  Lacy Sunshine, Bugaboo and StampArt.

First card is brought to you by StampArt.  He's called Teddy's Surprise.

I used Tombow Art Markers to color in the image.  I used My Minds Eye, Holly Jolly paper.  I paper pieced the bows and package using the Holly Jolly paper.

Next is Bugaboo.  Image is Nativity - Mary, Joseph and Child.

Again, used the Tombow Art Markers and the My Minds Eye Holly Jolly paper.  The yellow is Tim Holtz Craft Core embossed then sanded.  The sentiment is by UnityStampCo.

Last but not least is Lacy Sunshine.  She's called Coco's Holiday Ornament.  I was inspired by a sketch at Sieze the Sketch and a DT member Rose.  (Thanks Rose!!)

Colored with Tombow Art Markers, MME Holly Jolly Paper, UnityStampCo. sentiment, twine and button from stash.  What you can't see is she's sparkly with some stickles!

Bring on the flakes!!

Here we find ourselves in the second week of the Clear It Out Challenge.  Anything goes is the theme, so let 'er rip, but be sure there is a snowflake on your project!!

This week's entry is brought to you by Digi Darla Designs.  Isn't he just the cutest?!?!

He's called "dot in Winter."  I used my Tombow Art Markers for coloring, but used a piece of scrap patterned paper for his scarf.  The background cardstock is Tim Holtz Craft Core cardstock.  I embossed it with a snowflake folder, then sanded the raised  features.  I also used the Tim Holtz stack for the red too.  Stampin up "very merry" stamp and some bling and viola!!!

Please be sure to visit our super-terrific sponsors and get those snowflake entries in!!  One week left!

It's Chilly!

It's chilly here in Florida!  For those of us in the south......chilly means anything below 70!  We're in long sleeves, jackets and my kids are still complaining that they are cold!  But I digress........at Clear It Out Challenge Blogspot it's all about the snowflakes!  For this 2 week challenge anything goes in the theme department but be sure there is a snowflake somewhere on your piece!

I've chosen this super cute snowman for my project!  He's brought to you by QKR Stampede.  He's called "winter friends" and I do love this image!  I paper pieced most of him together.  The hat, scarf and mittens are cut from scrap patterned paper.  The remaining coloring was done with my Tombow Art Markers.  The bling is from my stash.  I used a snowflake embossing folder for the squares at the bottom.  Hope you enjoy him and go visit our sponsors for more great images!

and yet S'MORE cards!!

Here we are on week 2 of the Clear It Out Challenge Blogspot challenge.  The theme is "S'more" and the stash item is "brown & white."

Last week I made three cards, each representing one of the sponsors.  I made "s'more" cards!  So this week I followed the same pattern!

First is a card from a new sponsor StampArt by Kathryne.  I used my Tombow Art markers to color her in.  I used a bit of stickles and liquid pearls also.  Some Tim Holtz paper, some BG brads, a stamp here, a white paint pen there and here you go!!

Next card's image is brought to you by Lacy Sunshine.  Again using my Tombow art markers to color her.  Printed my sentiment on craft cardstock then ran it through the embosser.  Quick and Easy!

And last but certainly not least is an image from Bugaboo.  Using the Tombow Art markers, some liquid pearls, some felt Christmas trees and a snowflake embossing folder make this card super cute for the holidays!!

Thanks for checking us out and please take a moment to check out our sponsors as well!!

Unity {be inspired} challenge

I am entering this card in the Unity {be inspired} challenge.  I tried to use all the colors, but as you can see the greens are a little lacking.  I did add the green brads! :o)

I used my newly acquired Unity Stamp "Winter, joy.peace.love."  I love this snowflake!

Let's make S'MORE cards!!

Welcome to November!!  This 2 week theme on Clear It Out Challenge is S'MORE!  The stash item is to use brown and white!

My take on the theme is not just one card, but "s'more" cards!  So here goes!  These cards are representing all three sponsors for this challenge.  Bugaboo Stamps, Lacy Sunshine and Stamp Art Design by Kathryne/Whimsy Stamps.

The first card uses a Bugaboo Stamp.  The house is paper pieced using scraps.  The sentiment is from Unity Stamp Co.  The next one uses Lacy Sunshine.  I used Tombow Art Markers to color her, scraps for the cardstock.  Some Club Scrap ribbon and Pink Paislee alphabet stickers in Chocolate.  And last but not least.......Stamp Art Design by Kathryne!  I used the Tombow Art Markers again, some stickles on the edges of the package.  Used Tim Holtz cardstock embossed with the swiss dot folder.  Ribbon from stash and viola!

Hope you can join us for this two week challenge and please check out our sponsors!!  They are super awesome!!

Week of Halloween is finally here!

Here it is.....the week of Halloween!  I'm sure my kids thought it would never get here!  It's also the last week of the Clear it Out Challenge Blog's Halloween/Orange challenge!

For this tag, I used the QKR Stampede stamp pumpkins.  I colored them in with my Tombow Art Markers.  The black dot paper is Echo Park Happy Halloween.  I used some halloween colored ribbon and some buttons from my stash.  BTW I used a sketch from Operation Write Home Blog.  This is a wonderful organization that receives cards and then sends them out to the US Troops overseas.

As I've said before, I don't sent Halloween cards but this will be super sweet on a scrapbook page layout!

Thanks again to our great sponsors for this 3 week challenge!   This challenge only lasts a few more days.....get your entry in for a chance to win some digis!!

Happy Halloween!

For this second week of the Clear It Out Challenge I made a super cute tag using a Digi Darla digi stamp.  It says she's actually a wizard, but I still think she's cute!

I used Tombo Art markers to color her.  The paper and "Oct. 31" rub-on are Fancy Pants October 31.  I also used Bazzill bling, black string and Crystal stickles.  She will ultimately go on a scrapbook page!

There is still two more weeks to go on this challenge!  The theme is HALLOWEEN and the stash item is ANYTHING ORANGE!  Get to it!

Thanks again to our sponsors they are awesome!  Check them out!

{Spooky} Halloween!

It's that time of year again when the ghosts and goblins start appearing around your neighborhoods!  Although this tag says "spooky" it's really very sweet!

Clear It Out Challenge Blog is at it again with another great challenge!  The theme is HALLOWEEN and the stash item is SOMETHING ORANGE.

We have a new sponsor for this challenge, Stitchy Bear.  This image was colored with Tombo Art markers.  The paper is Echo Park Happy Halloween.  I used a Basic Grey brad and the letters and banner are from Making Memories Design Shop Halloween.  I don't send Halloween cards, but with two kids who trick-or-treat every year, this tag will no doubt go on a page perfectly!

I am utilizing the sketch at Seize the Sketch and entering it on their challenge blog as well!

Be sure to check out Stitchy Bear and the other sponsors for this week's challenge for great digi stamps!
