Falling for the Holidays 2024 {BYSHC} Linky Party - BE MERRY

 Got one more card in!! I had to take it inside, so it's really not a great photo, but none the less, one more card for the Falling for the Holidays 2024 {BYSHC} Linky Party!

Created with some scraps that all coordinated and found that they coordinated with {BYSHC} Sketch 12! 

Stamp I used is from the December 2020 Whit Kit called Winter Shake Up. The white circle was a leftover from another project. Stamped with VersaFine Clair, colored with Kings Art Alcohol Markers and some Tombow ABT Markers! Stamped the sentiment with the same black onto white cardstock and then fussy cut. Better pictures when the sun is out! :)

I am scrounging around my desk to see what's left! I have bits and pieces, stamped images, printed images, sentiments, scraps of paper.....so much goodness! I have a couple hours before I'm leaving for the evening (HALLOWEEN COSTUME PARTY) so trying to get in as many as I can manage! Unfortunately it's 6:15 pm and it's getting dark so these next few entries will not be the best pictures!

This one is a few pieces of scraps that were already cut into the squares so I just needed to find something to go with it! The remaining Angie Blom Digital Designs set Christmas Joy Mugs that I printed a few days ago were just sitting here....so let's go! Colored with King Arts Alcohol Markers and then added some stardust stickles for sparkle! Die cut with the smallest scallops and rectangle nesting die from Unity Stamp Co. and then distressed with some vintage photo. Some blue enamel dots from Gina Marie Designs to finish it off! Used the TOPII Sketch #26 for this one!

{BYSHC} Sketch 50 - Merry Little Christmas

 Hello again! While today is the last day of the Falling for the Holidays 2024 {BYSHC} Linky Party, sketch 50 goes until the end of the month!

My card today was created with a new-to-me stencil from Newton's Nook Designs, called Argyle Stencil Set. I ink blended over the stencil with first the green (not sure which ink and/or color I used) ;), then onto the red. I see so many options with this fun stencil! I chose a cute little tree stamp from the Unity Stamp Co. Advent Calendar.

Still creating with scraps!! The patterned paper on this cutie are from Unity Stamp Co. Watercolor Winter paper pack.

I utilized a past sketch from Tawny Owl Paperie Inky Inspiration...sketch 13 (picture is below). The sweet image is from a recently retired Unity Stamp Co. Itty Bitty called Small Stuff Christmas. There is a new version of this sweet image called Simple Little Wishes.

I measured and cut the pieces, adhered them down, then distressed with some vintage photo distress oxide. I loved how Crystal used a flat sequin as the ornament on her card using the new image....I wanted to give it a try as well! I did color the ornament red first, then added the sequin on top. 

Falling for the Holidays 2024 {BYSHC} Linky Party - Magic & Wonder

 Tried something new today! Falling for the Holidays 2024 {BYSHC} Linky Party always gets me out of my comfort zone!

I watched a YouTube video this morning from Come Crafting with Natasha. Her videos just started popping up in my feed a few months ago and she is the cutest! She is from New Zealand and just listening to her talk is worth the time! The video is #1090, and it gives inspiration about using all the tiny/small stamps that come in a kit that you may not know what to do with!

I chose the 5 cute hats from the Unity Stamp Co. Kit of the Month from November 2023  called {festive flair}. Stamped with VersaFine Clair in Nocturne then embossed with clear embossing powder. Colored in various colors with King Art Alcohol Markers and then fussy cut. I die cut a plain white panel with the scallops and rectangle nesting dies from Unity. The smaller one I used some pink tape from Therm-o-web and ink blended over it with lucky clover and twisted citron. After removing the tape, I picked out a cute sentiment (from KOM from September 2024 {wander & wonder})! I used some foam tape to pop up the center rectangle. The hats were arranged (took forever to get it right) and glued down, then the center one popped up! I then added some green enamel dots from Gina Marie Designs and viola!

I absolutely *LOVE* this!!!! Thanks Natasha for this amazing technique! I will never take the tiny and small stamps for granted again!

Falling for the Holidays 2024 {BYSHC} Linky Party - christmas joy santa

 The Falling for the Holidays 2024 {BYSHC} Linky Party is winding down! Only three more days to link up!!

My sweet santa mug comes from an amazing sponsor (and an amazing person) Angie Blom Digital Designs. 

Set is called Christmas Joy Mugs and has an amazing 8 different mugs and 6 different sentiments! I've used only 3 during this linky party! So many more left to color!  I chose to use an older {BYSHC} Sketch, number 20 (pictured below) and a paper pieced background I created quite a while ago! A mix of manufacturers and solid cardstock. Colored with King Art Alcohol Markers, distressed with some walnut stain and some super old stardust Stickles just to add some sparkle! Mounted with foam adhesive and some red enamel dots from Gina Marie Designs.

Will also add this to the Caffeinated Christmas Card Challenge! Santa Mug definitely whimsical!

 Hello again! This Falling for the Holidays 2024 {BYSHC} Linky Party is about half over! Be sure to get your card creations posted to the blog before the 25th!

More scraps means more cards! The patterned papers I used for this one are from Unity Stamp Co. North Pole Collection. The "Joy" stamp is part of the 2020 Unity Stamp Co. Advent Calendar! I stamped it using lumberjack plaid distress oxide and then embossed with clear embossing powder.  I used the scallops and square nesting dies to cut the center squares. I cut out the center of the scalloped square and then mounted the center using some foam adhesive. Added some red enamel dots from Gina Marie Designs and followed {BYSHC} sketch 33 to create this card!
