National Scrapbook Day Weekend Blog Hop
Happy NSD all! I am totally excited that you’ve joined us this weekend for this extra special blog hop. SpiegelMom Scraps and the Southern Girls Challenge Blog owners and Design Teams have united and are aspiring to inspire YOU! This hop has such wide variety of paper crafting styles and media being used that it’s sure to knock your socks off.
Jody Spiegelhoff, owns SpiegelMom Scraps, and one of her lovely Design Team Sparklers, Louise is an owner of the Southern Girls Challenge Blog. Jody and Louise thought having their Design Teams join forces for this weekend would rock! I think they were right! So, it’s time to grab your favorite beverage (depending on the time of day where you live), a yummy treat and get ready to click & scroll your way to some fabulous inspiration!
If you’re starting your inspiration adventure here on my blog (Wish I Was Scrappin), you may want to go back and start at the beginning by clicking on the SpiegelMom Scraps blog link below. I'd love for you to follow my blog and don't forget to comment too!
Here’s your line up!
Jennifer Shamblin (you are here!)
Tracy Jackson (finish up here!)
Get ready for some beautiful paper crafting!
Now that we're through with all the "business" part of the hop, here's my creation! It's based on the layout sketch that's part of the hop!
My base paper is BoBunny Double Dot in Slate, the patterned papers at the top along with the papers used on the "earth" are all from scraps. The sun is a sticker turned into a die cut, the letters are chipboard thickers and the earth is just paper pieced together. The twine and sequins are from Bella Creationz and Timeless Twine and the colored dots are homemade melted perler beads!
Follow along to the next blog and be sure to comment and have fun exploring all the fun paper crafting ideas!!
