Tic-Tac-Toe

The current prompt at Jingle Belles is for a Christmas Tic-Tac-Toe!  So fun!

For today's card I've chosen to go straight down the middle!  Bling (stars), Die Cuts and Tree(s).

I used a watercolor paper panel, ink blended Faded Jeans, Broken China and Speckled Egg to create a winter sunset.  Sprinkled some watered down white acrylic paint on top for snowy effect.  Die cut the trees using Tim Holtz Woodlands thinlits dies in black for the silhouette.  I then glued some silver star sequins on for a little bling.  Stamped sentiment is from Unity Stamp Co., popped up with some foam tape.

Thanks for checking it out!

Photo Challenge!

Jingle Belles has posted a photo challenge this round!  So many options with this one!  Color, cntent, shapes all are fair game!

Today I've chosen to use the snow globe aspect of this photo along with the "whimsical" shapes inside the globes!

This card pretty much had a mind of it's own!!  Started out as something completely different, but the final result is perfect!!

Started with a background of light blue cardstock.  Used some faded jeans distress oxide to ink blend the edges.  I then sprinkled some watered down white acrylic paint.  The stamps used are all from Unity Stamp Co.  They are Winter Shake Up (snowglobe) and felt star.  The star reminds me of sugar cookies which is in the inspiration photo as well.  Tombow Art Markers to color on watercolor paper.
