{BYSHC} Sketch 55 - Christmas Joy

I used some digital images from Angie Blom Digital Designs on this cute card! The background is Christmas Joy Script Background and the cup image and sentiment are both from Christmas Joy Mugs. The beauty of digital images (in my opinion) is the resizing! I had this cup image already printed and colored, but it was just too big for this card. So I reprinted it....a tiny bit smaller. The background was resized also! I colored the cup with KINGART Alcohol Markers and mounted it with some foam tape. The sentiment was also mounted with foam adhesive and a bit of red and white twine from BellaCreationz Timeless Twine! The background was ink blended using some cracked pistachio distress oxide. I added some translucent enamel dots from Gina Marie Designs to finish it off.

Falling for the Holidays 2024 {BYSHC} Linky Party - christmas joy cuppa

 Hello again! Welcome back! I am still creating cards for the Falling for the Holidays 2024 {BYSHC} Linky Party! 

More scraps!!  This patterned paper is a scrap of a double sided piece from (I think) My Minds Eye. I don't have much of it left, which is why I'm using a scrap! LOL

I used a past {BYSHC} sketch for this one! Sketch 40 is pictured below! I cut my scrap in half and used both sides. The image is part of the set I recently purchased (and printed an entire sheet of) from Angie Blom Digital Designs called Christmas Joy Mugs!  Colored with King Art Alcohol Markers and distressed with some walnut stain. The card base was also distressed with some walnut stain over vintage photo. I splattered some water to give the dappled effect. Added a cute aqua color button to match that side of the paper, some Gina Marie Designs enamel dots and some twine! Cute!!

Also entering this in the Caffeinated Christmas Card Challenge for October! The theme is coffee + whimsical winter! What's more whimsical that Christmas lights on your coffee cup?!?! 

Christmas in July 2024 {BYSHC} Linky Party - Christmas Joy

 Didn't expect to get another one in, but I did! Christmas in July 2024 {BYSHC} Linky Party ends at midnight.

The only thing on this card that's "new" and not from the scrap bin is the die cut tag! It was a regular panel, but I cut it into a tag!

The snowflake panel didn't stamp perfectly the first time so it went in the scrap bin and has now gained new life!! I grabbed a sketch that matched the size and shape of the image. Sketch 33 fit the bill! I love being able to go through my scraps and see what I can come up with! It's like a treasure hunt! My desk is an absolute mess, but wow....what a fun week!!  The snowflake background, the scalloped and rectangle die set, the tag die and the sentiment strips are all from Unity! Enamel dots from Gina Marie Designs and ribbon from stash!
