{BYSHC} Spring into Christmas 2026 Linky Party - Happy Holidays

Hi crafty friends! Another creation for the {BYSHC} Spring into Christmas 2026 Linky Party!

My card is what you could call a 3-for-1! Three sponsors...one card! :) A PSA to note on this one.... I stamped the image before I die cut. During the positioning on the die cutter the die shifted so it was off center :/ after I stomped my feet for a second....I took a deep breath and fixed the problem! :) Adding more embellishments!

To begin, the blue patterned paper is a digital download from RAM (Rachel Ann Miller) Stamps. The entire printable pack is soooo cute! It's called Snowy Christmas. That's sponsor #1, the next sponsor shown is Taylored Expressions! Unfortunately, the stamp set is no longer available, but there are soooo many other cute sets available! This one is called Fluffy Friends - Holiday. And last but not least...the die cut circle is brought to you by Unity Stamp Co., the scallops and circle nesting dies.

I colored the image in with KingArt Alcohol Markers, popped the circle up with foam adhesive and gave it a teensy bit of distressing around the edges and a few flat sequins.

I followed one of the {BYSHC} Sketches from a couple years ago.....Sketch 41!

{BYSHC} Falling for the Holidays 2025 Linky Party - Warm Wishes

Hello and happy Thursday! The {BYSHC} Falling for the Holidays 2025 Linky Party ends tomorrow night at midnight! Be sure to link up your creations to the blog before the clock strikes 12!

Today's card features another sponsor Taylored Expressions! This sweet set of stamps also has a coordinating die set too! It's called Fluffy Friends - Holiday.

This sweet little bear on a sled is so cute! I chose {BYSHC} Sketch 41 to create this card. Again using scraps for this card, the Kraft background has a chunk taken out of it, the turquoise and patterned cardstock were partial sheets as well. I included a pic of the actual sheets to show I'm not making this up! LOL The patterned paper is from Basic Grey (I know, right?!?). The paper pack is sooooo old, but its called Nordic Holiday circa 2011! I colored the bear to coordinate with the paper (used KingArt Alcohol Markers)!

I added some die cut circles, scallops and circles nesting dies from Unity Stamp Co., some foam adhesive and some clear flat sequins! So sweet!!!

My scraps!

{BYSHC} Spring Into Christmas 2025 Linky Party - Merry Christmas

Hello and happy Thursday! You will have all of today, and all of tomorrow to get your entries in for the Spring Into Christmas {BYSHC} 2025 Linky Party! The link closes at Midnight Friday!

I wanted to see what I could come up with in about an hour before I had to get to work! I have had this plaid paper in my stash for about 100 years! LOL Well maybe not 100, but you get the picture! I followed {BYSHC} Sketch 41 (pictured below). I cut the pieces to size, I should have adjusted the length just a bit so it fit better on the card base, but it is what it is! LOL

The sentiment is from Unity's Gotta Love Sentiments (one of my absolute favorites, gets used a lot!), The wreath is from the 2020 Advent Calendar. I cut the circles using the scallops and circles nesting dies. Colored the wreath with King Art Alcohol Markers. I added some clear Ranger EmbossIT pen to the ornaments on the wreath, then sprinkled with Nuvo Embossing powder in gold enchantment! After heating with a heat gun, I added some foam adhesive and some gold glitter enamel dots

Falling for the Holidays 2024 {BYSHC} Linky Party - holly jolly

Hello there! The Falling for the Holidays 2024 {BYSHC} Linky Party is a great way to get those holiday cards going before the mad rush that is December!

Today's card is, you've guessed it, MORE SCRAPS! I chose a previous {BYSHC} Sketch for this one!

I had this piece of patterned paper from the Unity Stamp Co. White Winter Paper Pack. I found some matching solid red cardstock (two pieces taped together actually) and started cutting! I recently purchased some digital images from Angie Blom Digital Designs, this one happens to come from the Christmas Joy Mug set. Printed, then colored with King Art Alcohol Markers. Added some white gel pen, white acrylic paint and distress stain in vintage photo splattered on. As I said I used {BYSHC} sketch 41 for this one. I used a circle of vellum as the background for this fussy cut mug of hot steaming cheer! This sketch is great for using up scraps!

I then added some red enamel dots from Gina Marie Designs and some foam tape!

Why not enter this cute one into another challenge! The Caffeinated Christmas Card Challenge October challenge is for coffee + whimsical!

More Angie Blom Digital Designs and {BYSHC} Sketch #41!

This month {BYSHC} is celebrating the prize sponsorship for the month with Angie Blom Digital Designs!

I started with a white card base. To that I added a background piece of kraft paper, then a piece of red (cut to the measurements on the sketch). The patterned paper was cut a little larger than the measurements listed. The red and patterned paper are from a pad from 2018 from Fancy Pants Designs called Cottage Christmas. I printed the image, which is part of the Blessings Poinsettia set onto Neenah white cardstock, then cut it (and the black circle) using the scallops and circles nesting dies from Unity Stamp Co. The image was colored using some alcohol markers made by Kingart. The sentiment is also included in the set, which I cut, and a red piece, using the scallops and banner nesting die set from Unity! I added some foam tape to the circles and the sentiment tag. Tied with some natural colored twine from Timeless Twine by BellaCreationz and added some red enamel dots from GinaMarie Designs.

Some images of the sketch and my crafty essentials!

to color the poinsettias I used some from this set and some from other sets.
Numbers used: 13, 22, 46, 166.

This set comes with four images of a mason jar filled with poinsettias and a couple sentiments.

{BYSHC} Sketch #41

We're well into the new year and I can say that I have started building up my stash of holiday cards for the end of the year so that I am not stressed and hurriedly creating at the last minute! If you do a little each month, the task in December isn't so daunting! :) {BYSHC} has a new sketch each month! This year the monthly prize will be a sponsored prize! Angie Blom Digital Designs is the sponsor for January! I absolutely love her digital images!

Today's card features the design called Gifting Girl. This set actually comes with 4 different images. I chose one and used the "Happy Holidays" from another! I started with a white A2 card base, to that I added a background panel (measured and cut per the measurements on the sketch). The rectangle panels were also cut per the measurements. These papers all came from a My Mind's Eye pad called Christmas Wish. I printed the image on regular cardstock and colored with various alcohol markers (purchased at Ross...two different brands). I cut her and the black mat using the scallops and circles nesting die set from Unity Stamp Co. The sequins are from SpiegelMom scraps from a set called Cranberry Bliss. The white bakers twine is literally that.....white bakers twine I purchased from my grocery store! LOL I saw it hanging on the end of an aisle and snatched it right up! :) I added some foam tape to the back of the circles and to the back of the sentiment to give a little dimension!

Be sure to follow along all year for amazing sketches and some amazing sponsored prizes! By the end of the year, you will have a lovely set of cards to choose from!

Links are above, but I've added photos of some products I've used.

A new-to-me challenge blog!

Hello there! I have discovered another challenge blog and this month's theme is "snowman!" The blog is called "Inspired By...

This cutie started with a white card base. I used Sketch 41 from {BYSHC}....it's the current monthly sketch for January! I did turn it on it's side, but I think it still works! The sketch is pictured below for reference!

I cut the papers using the measurements on the sketch. The grey snowflake background paper and the polka dot paper circle are from Park Lane - Nice List. The grey/whitewash wood looking paper is from Unity Stamp Co. The Snowman is from Unity as well...the kit is called snow, snow cute. I colored with my Tombow ABT dual brush markers onto watercolor paper and blended and blended. Funny story....the pink in the hat was NOT planned! I grabbed my water brush and it must have had some color left from the last time I used it! :/ but at the end of the day....I love it! :) The circles were die cut with a nesting die set from Unity Stamp Co. called scallops and circles and mounted with foam adhesive to give lift. The sentiment, too, is from Unity KOM from September 2023, stamped onto watercolor paper and ink blended around the edges and also mounted with foam adhesive. Twine is from Bellacreationz, sequins and snowflake charm were in my stash!

I have linked everything up top but I've included some pictures below! :)

Happy New Year!! {BYSHC} Sketch Challenge #41

Happy New Year! Welcome to 2024 and the beginning of your stash for Christmas 2024! {BYSHC} has changed a teensy bit this year! Each monthly challenge prize will now be sponsored by one of our Linky Party Sponsors! SOOOO FUUUNNN!!  The month of January is being sponsored by Angie Blom Digital Designs!

This cute santa is from Angie Blom Digital Designs and he's called HO HO HO Merry Christmas! I turned the sketch on it's side to accommodate a vertical card, rather than a horizontal one! Started with a white card base, added a background panel that's grey with white "snow." This sheet was from Park Lane/Nice List. The measured panels and circle are from Gnome for the Holidays/Christmas from PhotoPlay. I printed the image on watercolor paper and used my Tombow ABT dual brush markers to color him in. My printer ink is not water friendly which is why some spots look dark...my ink smudged the printed image! I used the Unity Stamp Co. scallops and circles nesting dies for the circles. I added some red/white/green twine and some clear "dew drops" along with some foam tape to give some dimension!

Please join in the fun! Sketch 41 runs through the month and one card will be randomly chosen to receive a prize!
