{BYSHC} Christmas in July 2026 Linky Party - Merry! :)

Well......what's one more card!?! All this pretty stuff still out from all the cards I made this week were just screaming at me to make one more card for the {BYSHC} Christmas in July 2026 Linky Party!

Paper is from a prize I won some time ago, so not sure what brand....the sentiment/image is from RAM Stamps! Remember when I mentioned that I print an entire page so I have extra....this is what I meant! :)

Colored with KingArt Alcohol Markers. While I'm not 100% satisfied with the bow/ribbon behind the sentiment I was working against the rain and the night! LOL So I'll likely go back and fix it later, but wanted to get the pictures taken before it was too late!  I also followed {BYSHC} Sketch 44!

So this card makes it an UNEVEN 15!

{BYSHC} Sketch 65 - Special Delivery

Hello and Happy New Year! Welcome and I hope your holidays were spectacular! {BYSHC} DT are here to help ease you into the new year and the beginning of your stash of cards for December 2026! Personally, I had plenty of cards to send out and quite a few left to start the new year! Let's do this together! Each month there is a new sketch and a new sponsor, please join us and have some fun!  Sketch 65's sponsor is Not2Shabby!

This sweet santa just makes me happy! He is from Unity Stamp Co., called A Little Ho Ho Ho. I stamped him with VersaFine Clair in Nocturne and colored with KingArt Alcohol Markers. The background paper is older Stampin' Up. The stripes are washi tape stuck to cardstock then die cut using Taylored Expressions Easy Strips - 1/4" die.

Easy peasy, lemon squeezy! Create away and post your card on the {BYSHC} page in the Sketch 65 album for your chance to win a prize from Not2Shabby!

{BYSHC} Sketch 63 - Merry Christmas Bear

Hello and Welcome to November! :| How did we get here so fast!?! Well it's definitely crunch time so glad that {BYSHC} has helped me get my Christmas card supply full and ready to get cards out!

Today begins Sketch 63! This sketch lasts throughout the month of November and our awesome sponsor this month is Angie Blom Digital Designs! I love using digital images! You have so many options! Change sizes, move things around on the page, it's amazing!

My first card for the month features this sweet set called Beary Nice, the sentiment is from Ho Ho Ho Merry Christmas. Printed the image and sentiment, colored the bear using King Art Alcohol Markers. Plaid background paper and green "tree" strip are from Echo Park Snowed In. I added some enamel dots from Gina Marie Designs and stapled the sentiment to the base.

{BYSHC} Spring into Christmas 2025 Linky Party - Happy Holidays!

Hello again and welcome back! The Spring into Christmas {BYSHC} 2025 Linky Party is happening!

My card was created with another scrap! I used My Mind's Eye "i believe" (circa 2010)! I used front and back of one scrap!

I followed the {BYSHC} Sketch 42 (pictured below). I started with a previously printed image from Angie Blom Digital Designs, called blessings poinsettia. I colored with some KingArt Alcohol Markers, then attempted to watercolor the blue of the jar to look like water. Well it smeared the printed ink all over the place! LOL Luckily the sentiment can cover! I added a circle of vellum and popped the fussy cut image and sentiment up with foam adhesive and added some transparent green enamel dots from Gina Marie Designs as an extra little pop!

{BYSHC} Spring into Christmas Linky Party - You Make Me Smile!

Hello and welcome to the {BYSHC} Spring into the Holidays 2025 Linky Party! We will be going all week long!

We will be hosting this amazing opportunity to get some Christmas cards made and added to the stash! There are prizes galore and fun to be had!!

My first card for the party is a cute santa mug from Angie Blog Digital Designs! The background was created with a bunch of scraps cut into 1/2" strips and glued to a white panel, after they were all set I die cut it using the scallops and rectangles nesting dies from Unity Stamp Co.  The papers are from all different manufacturers and paper packs. This is one of my favorite ways to use up scraps! I followed Sketch 20 from {BYSHC} (pictured below).

The santa mug was colored using KingArt Alcohol Markers.

All cards must be entered into the blog post. Anything goes as long as it's Christmas, Hanukkah, Yuletide, wintry, etc. The party will end of May 9th. After that the winners will be announced a few days later!

The list of sponsors is here! Take a look and be sure to get your entries in!

{BYSHC} Sketch 51 - Cozy Winter Vibes

Sketch 51 at {BYSHC} goes until the end of the month. It's the last big push to complete cards to be ready for the big holiday mailing!

This cute card kind of had a mind of it's own! I had printed a bunch of the images from the Angie Blom Digital Designs set called Christmas Joy Mugs. I colored with King Art Alcohol Markers and then fussy cut. The papers are scraps that were left on my desk (shocking) from a pad by Photoplay Gnome for the Holidays! I die cut the created panel with the scallops and rectangle nesting die set by Unity Stamp Co. and also the tag with the make a tag die set. I added some foam adhesive onto the back of the cup and add it to the tag. I added some red/white/green twine. The sentiment is from the Unity Sentiment Kit ...shake your flakes (December 2022).

It's really cute and colorful!

Inky Paws Challenge #232 - Cozy Fall!

I struggle with fall cards...."fall" in Florida is basically the same as summer! Also, I don't typically send fall-ish cards! Soooooo, BIRTHDAY CARDS it is!

I created the plaid background based on the inspiration photo. Evergreen bough, festive berries, scattered straw and tea dye are the colors I used. I blended over a plaid builder stencil by Unity Stamp Co. Then I splattered some watered down white acrylic paint and some distress stain in vintage photo.  I die cut the panels with a Tim Holtz nesting die set called Stacked Deckle. Then I ink blended around the edges with more vintage photo and arranged them as I thought would look best. On to this cuuuuute mouse!! This little guy is from Newton's Nook Designs set called Garden Mice. Colored with some kingart alcohol markers and then used the matching die set to cut him out. The sentiment is from an older NND set called Simply Sentimental (sorry, it's no longer available). Stamped onto kraft with versamark and white embossing powder then tore the ends. Added some enamel dots, a cute little paperclip and a couple little accent flags for extra detail! Hope you like this one! It took awhile for me to figure out what to do! LOLOL

More Angie Blom Digital Designs and {BYSHC} Sketch #41!

This month {BYSHC} is celebrating the prize sponsorship for the month with Angie Blom Digital Designs!

I started with a white card base. To that I added a background piece of kraft paper, then a piece of red (cut to the measurements on the sketch). The patterned paper was cut a little larger than the measurements listed. The red and patterned paper are from a pad from 2018 from Fancy Pants Designs called Cottage Christmas. I printed the image, which is part of the Blessings Poinsettia set onto Neenah white cardstock, then cut it (and the black circle) using the scallops and circles nesting dies from Unity Stamp Co. The image was colored using some alcohol markers made by Kingart. The sentiment is also included in the set, which I cut, and a red piece, using the scallops and banner nesting die set from Unity! I added some foam tape to the circles and the sentiment tag. Tied with some natural colored twine from Timeless Twine by BellaCreationz and added some red enamel dots from GinaMarie Designs.

Some images of the sketch and my crafty essentials!

to color the poinsettias I used some from this set and some from other sets.
Numbers used: 13, 22, 46, 166.

This set comes with four images of a mason jar filled with poinsettias and a couple sentiments.

Favorite scissors!
