{BYSHC} Christmas in July 2025 Linky Party - Peace on Earth

Hey there and welcome back! All entries for the Christmas in July 2025 {BYSHC} Linky Party should be submitted no later than 7/25/25 at Midnight!

My card features one of the amazing sponsors for our party.....RAM Stamps! Today I have chosen Snowy Christmas Digital Paper Pack and Woodland Snowman Digital Stamp. I colored the scene with Kingart Alcohol Markers, and followed the measurements for {BYSHC} Sketch 47! I attached the die cut square and the sentiment with foam adhesive and added some light blue enamel dots from Gina Marie Designs.

{BYSHC} Christmas in July 2024 Linky Party - Silent Night

Hello and welcome back! Today's card for the {BYSHC} Christmas in July 2024 Linky Party is another digital image from RAM Stamps!

I have again chosen the Nativity Scene Builder from RAM Stamps!

This sweet set has the essential nativity participants! Mary, Joseph, baby Jesus, angels, wise men, farm animals and of course a manger and stable! As I stated previously I just was enlightened that digital stamps are meant to be manipulated to create a scene and change sizes!!

After resizing and positioning the items on my screen as I wanted, I printed this onto white 60# cardstock and die cut using the largest scallop and rectangle nesting die from Unity Stamp Co. I then distressed the edges with a little vintage photo ink blending. The angel and blessed family were printed separately and fussy cut. All were colored with Tombow brush markers and some white gel pen. I attached the angel and blessed family using some foam adhesive.

Somewhat simple but still just as meaningful!

Thanks for visiting and I hope to see you soon!

{BYSHC} Christmas in July 2024 Linky Party - Peace on Earth

the Christmas in July {BYSHC} 2024 Linky Party is a great chance to build your stash of holiday cards so when December rolls around, there is no "panic" cardmaking at 1am! Believe me....I've done it! :)

The list of sponsors for this amazing party are listed on the {BYSHC} Blog post and are INCREDIBLE! Today I am featuring a couple of them....one is RAM Stamps! This scene is from the set called Nativity Scene Creator.

This sweet little scene was printed onto regular white 60# cardstock and die cut using the scallops and arches nesting die set from Unity Stamp Co. The manger and people were colored with alcohol markers and some white gel pen. I masked both the manger and people and then ink blended over the mask to create the background. I used a sketch #29 from {BYSHC} to create the cardbase.

I have been using digital stamps for some time now....not forever, but not super recent either. Thank you to Crystal and all the others who informed me, after I asked, that digital stamps can be manipulated on several types of apps! I am finding an entirely new love of digital stamps now that I can move them around and resize them as I like! **GAME CHANGER**

So glad that I now have this knowledge, it will make creating with digital stamps that much more fun!!

Be sure to have your entries added before midnight on the 26th to be eligible for some amazing prizes!

pssst.....RAM Stamps has graciously provided us with a discount code: CHRISTMAS50

Spring into Christmas 2024 {BYSHC} Linky Party - Happy Christmas

Hello again and TGIF! Today is the last day to enter the Spring into Christmas 2024 {BYSHC} Linky Party!

I have managed to make more cards! Not sure how I did it, but nonetheless....here is one of them!

I used a bunch of sponsors on this one! The sketch is from {BYSHC} #18
, the paper and image are from RAM Stamps, the sentiment is from Unity Stamp Co. and the enamel dots are from Gina Marie Designs! I printed the image (Holiday Birds) and then colored with alcohol markers. The papers I printed on regular cardstock and cut per the measurements on the sketch (pictured below).

Don't delay in getting your projects posted as the link closes at midnight!

Sketch 44 - Last but not least!

After a great week long Linky Party, BYSHC has a few more days with Sketch 44!

Our sponsor this month is RAM Stamps! This sweet penguin scene was printed, colored and fussy cut to create this sweet focal point!  All patterned cardstock is also digital from RAM Stamps!  The penguin set is called Christmas Penguins and the paper is called Snowy Christmas.

The name of this digital set is called Woodland Snowman. I colored with some alcohol markers to somewhat coordinate with the paper pack that is also from RAM Stamps, called Snowy Christmas. This sweet scene was fun to color! This little girl and her snowman are just precious!

I also used some cut apart sentiment strips and scalloped and stitched dies from Unity Stamp Co, as well as some enamel dots from Gina Marie Designs. All of which are also sponsors!!

{BYSHC} Sketch 44

Welcome back and welcome to APRIL!! {BYSHC} sketch 44 is here! As was announced at the beginning of the year, each monthly sketch is going to be sponsored by one of our many friends! This month the sponsor is RAM Stamps! The prize this month will come from RAM Stamps in the form of a $20 gift card! To get you started on the RAM Stamp bandwagon.....they have provided us with a discount code! The graphic is at the bottom of my post!

This sweet image is called Holiday Birds. I thought this line of cute birds on a line was perfect to fit along with the current sketch! I colored with some alcohol markers. I only have two palettes so my colors are somewhat limited! :) The paper is also from RAM Stamps and it's called Snowy Christmas Digital Paper Pack. I added some clear plastic snowflakes (from the dollar store) and a sentiment strip from Unity Stamp Co.

Here is the sketch! It's good through the end of the month!

We are in the home stretch! Sketch 40!

And just like that it's December! If you have been following {BYSHC} all year long with our sketches, your Christmas card stash should be overflowing with goodness!!! This is the last sketch of the year!! All entries are due by December 31! Use it to either finish the cards that are going out this year, or to get a jump start on next year!

This digital image and papers are from Rachel Ann Miller (RAM) Stamps. RAM  Stamps is a sponsor of our linky parties! I received an email about a sale, went to the website and well here we are!! :) I purchased this cute "woodland snowman." The paper pack I purchased is called "snowy Christmas." I'm familiar with digital stamps, but this is a first with the digital paper pack!!  I started with a white cardbase, to that I added a piece of kraft cardstock (from Unity). I printed the image onto cardstock and colored with Tombow ABT Markers. The clouds were created using a cloud stencil from Unity and some distress ink blended over it. I then die cut it and another panel of kraft using the scallops and rectangle nesting dies from Unity. I turned the sketch on it's side to accommodate the image! Cut the two pieces of patterned paper to the measurements listed and then tied some white bakers twine around into a bow. I mounted the image over the twine using foam tape.  The sentiment was stamped directly to the patterned paper and is from Unity (small stuff Christmas). The enamel dots added are from Gina Marie Designs!

I love how sweet this turned out! Be sure to check out all the sponsors and my links for more information!
