Spring into Christmas {BYSHC} 2022 Linky Party - Entry post!

 Nope you are not seeing double.....this is a second post for the {BYSHC} Spring into Christmas Linky Party!  I have another card that I created with the remnants of the re-cycled or upcycled card I used for the first post!

As I mentioned previously, I used the center of a Christmas card (sent to me by my dentist) and another sentiment that was attached to a card received from a friend.  But what was leftover was a super cute frame!  The image was stamped on a piece of watercolor paper and die cut with Unity Stamp Co. Scallops and Rectangles nesting dies.  The image is also from Unity and it's called Planner Gal: Get Your Jingle.  I colored her with similar colors to coordinate with the frame that I saved from the trash!  Punched some snowflakes and added some Pink Fresh Essentials Jewel Mix!  I also added some additional sparkle!

Spring into Christmas 2022 {BYSHC} Linky Party

 Welcome to the Spring into Christmas 2022 {BYSHC} Linky Party!  Yes it's spring, but what a great time to build up a stash of Christmas cards and be entered to win some prizes from our AWESOME sponsors!

First let me share my card.....it was created using a previous month's BYSHC Sketch (Number 18) which is also pictured below.

The red background was cut using the Unity Stamp Co. Scallops and Rectangles nesting dies set.  The Penguin panel was cut from a recycled Christmas Card as well as the "Merry Christmas."  I also added some silver star confetti.  It doesn't have to be hard, just use your imagination and you would be surprised what you could come up with!  Stay tuned to see what I did with the rest of the Christmas card leftover after I removed the penguins! :)

Mad for Plaid!

 Happy April!  This year is flying by!!

My card today is simple but elegant at the same time!  Gold and glitter always make an elegant statement!  

Paper is old! I'm going through my stash and cutting up paper that I've had FOR-EVER!  This is from My Minds Eye called Cozy Christmas.  The date on this paper.......*GASP* is 2015. Why did I wait so long?!?

Image is from Polka Dot Orchard, called Happy Merry Christmas.  I followed a sketch from {BYSHC} Sketch #21.  I added some stickles to the snowflakes and colored in some of the letters.  Simple but elegant!

I'm also entering this lovely into the Jingle Belles challenge.  They are "Mad for Plaid!"  Also have a new prompt every couple weeks!  Get those Christmas cards made throughout the year and December will be a breeze!!

Stencil it......again!

 As promised, my second card for Jingle Belles current challenge of using a stencil.  Still using a stencil from The Rabbit Hole Designs called overlapping circles.  

I created a panel using the stencil, peacock feathers, hickory smoke and faded jeans distress ink/oxides.  Sprinkled water and diluted white acrylic paint to create dimension.  Scallops and rectangle dies from Unity Stamp Co, along with the snowglobe (part of the 2021 Advent Calendar) and the sentiment (cheerful prancing).  I used a sketch from {BYSHC} Sketch Challenge #20.

Stencil it!

 Jingle Belles is working on a new prompt this time around.....using stencils!  Doesn't have to be a Christmas stencil....as you can see, mine isn't!

Stencil is from The Rabbit Hole Designs called Overlapping Circles.  Used Hickory Smoke, Faded Jeans and Peacock Feathers distressing.  Sprayed with some water, the sprinkled some diluted white acrylic paint on to create interest!  Used Scallops & Rectangles Nesting dies from Unity Stamp Co.  I used the smaller scallop to cut out the center of the stenciled panel, then placed a white cut piece inside.  I can now use the inside cut piece and outside "frame" to create another card!  Stay tuned for that one! :). The mouse is also from Unity....called Peppermint Kisses Mouse Gnome.  Colored with Tombow Art Markers and then fussy cut.  Sentiment was stamped with peacock feathers ink.  Added some sequins in a grey/graphite color.

{BYSHC} Sketch Challenge 22

 Hello there!  Today I'm sharing a {BYSHC} Sketch Challenge 22 card!  This challenge runs through the end of March!  

This sweet stamp set is from Unity Stamp Co. called Planner Gal: Get Your Jingle.  Colored with Tombow Art Markers, added twine from Timeless Twine and some foam tape for dimension. Patterned paper is MME Cozy Christmas, an oldie but goodie!

Be sure to get your creations entered by March 31st!!

Easter on my mind.

 Happy Valentine's Day!  

With today being "heart" day, that brings my mind to Easter and all things spring!

This card was created using a digital set from Polka Dot Orchard called Saved by Grace.

Paper and die sets are from Unity Stamp Co., twine is from May Arts. Beads are from OhJustBEADit.
